The University of Cincinnati is expanding its student housing offerings as a result of record demand, student newspaper the News Record reports.

A record 6,800 students moved into university-provided housing this fall. Those students are living in a mix of on-campus and off-campus residences leased by the college.

Most recently, the university signed an agreement to lease all of the housing available at the USquare @ the Loop apartment complex on Calhoun Street starting next year.
