Kidder Mathews hires new exec to lead brokerage in Northern California, Nevada
Commercial real estate firm Kidder Mathews has brought on Eric Luhrs to lead its brokerage in Northern California and Nevada regions.
Luhrs, who will be at the helm of the company’s San Francisco, Redwood City, San Jose, Sacramento, Roseville and Reno offices, starts as executive vice president of brokerage on September 11, the firm said.

Poe Homes could be heading toward redevelopment, privatization
Planning for a redevelopment of the 298-unit Poe Homes could begin later this year as changes to the Poppleton community continue to roll on.
The 78-year-old public housing project in West Baltimore this week received a $1.3 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Cleburne building boom to double city’s population, mayor predicts
The mayor of Cleburne, located about a half-hour south of Fort Worth, predicts the city's population is on track to double as developers build 1,000 new homes.

New subdivision under development in Pelham
A new subdivision is gaining traction in Pelham.
Camellia Ridge, a Newcastle Homes development, is opening its model home next week off Bearden Road across from Pelham High School.
According to Newcastle Homes, four homes have already been sold in the subdivision, and 16 spec homes are completed or near completion in Phase 1. Six of those homes are already under contract. The initial phase will offer 30 homes, and 100 additional homesites will come in future phases.
