Birmingham real estate firm expands into 3 new states
A Birmingham-based real estate company is expanded into three new states.
Lake Homes Realty recently established real estate brokerage operations in Maine, Michigan and Florida.
“Entering these states has been a milestone for Lake Homes Realty,” said CEO Glenn S. Phillips. “We are now working from the top to the bottom of the eastern United States. This is really an exciting time for our brokerage.”

A Kentucky developer is behind the latest large-scale housing project near Grove City.
Erlanger, Kentucky based Fischer Homes, through its Grand Communities Ltd. subsidiary, wants to build a 535-unit development on about 210 acres west of Jackson Pike, south of the intersection with Hibbs Road. The project, which is called Farmstead, calls for 415 single-family homes and 120 row houses, according to plans submitted to the city.
