Report card: Tennessee’s best places to buy a house in 2018
House hunting? Wondering where you'll get the best value? This new report aims to identify the best places to buy a house in Tennessee this year.
The report comes from Niche, a website that provides reviews and insights on neighborhoods, colleges and K-12 schools. This study is part of their larger report on the “2018 Best Places to Live in Tennessee.”
We looked at Niche's top 25 places to buy a house in the Volunteer State and found that 10 of the top 25 are located in Middle Tennessee.

Big tweaks to parking-minimums to drive bill forward in City Council
A measure that would set higher mandatory parking minimums for housing developers has advanced in City Council in dramatically scaled-back form.
As revised Wednesday in the council’s Rules Committee, the legislation leaves intact little of the original text of Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell’s unpopular bill. New York apartment rents are dropping, study says
Apartments may be getting a bit cheaper in New York City.
That's according to RentHop’s data scientists who recently mapped out rental prices for one-bedroom apartments by subway stop.
The results come about a month after we reported that the national median two-bedroom rent was down 0.56 percent since January, to $1,247, and that the median one-bedroom rent in New York City was around $2,773. DHL adds CVG office space
DHL is expanding its presence at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport with the addition of office space.
The CVG Airport Board approved DHL’s lease of 68,000 square feet of space on the third, fourth and fifth floors of CVG Centre on Tuesday.

Phoenix looks to sell midtown parcels near light rail for new development
The city of Phoenix is looking to sell two midtown parcels off Central Avenue near the Heard Museum with hopes of bringing in new development.
