Mallinckrodt to settle two opioid suits for $24M


Mallinckrodt PLC is seeking to settle two lawsuits alleging wrongdoing in the opioid crisis for $24 million, the company said Friday.

The settlement is in principle with Cuyahoga and Summit counties in Ohio. Mallinckrodt said it will also donate $6 million in generic products, including addiction treatment products.
