Sugar Rush: Jacksonville candy companies talk holiday season spike, candy production


In the candy shop world, holidays are crunch time. These stores can do 20 to 30 percent of their annual sales just in the six or eight weeks leading up to Christmas. But they still differ – some do great traffic on Valentine's Day, others lean on Easter. As the days tick off until Christmas, the Business Journal spoke to several of the locally-owned candy companies to get the scoop.
