Wawa has agreed to pay $8 million to several states that sued the convenience store chain over its December 2019 data breach that compromised approximately 34 million payment cards.
Florida will receive more than $1.1 million in the settlement announced Tuesday, according to Attorney General Ashley Moody, who was among a coalition of attorneys general investigating the breach.
