Royal Star Hawaii to begin construction of new motorcoach facility in Kalihi
Royal Star Hawaii will begin the second phase of its $35 million project to develop its motorcoach maintenance facility on Kamehameha Highway in Kalihi this month.
A two-story, 7,400-square-feet building on the four-acre site will house both the office and maintenance facilities of Royal Star, including 75 employees.

Oahu home prices rise in Q2 on mixed sales as inventory increases
Single-family home sales on Oahu declined by 4 percent in the second quarter of this year, as the median price increased by the same percentage, while condominium prices rose by 5 percent on a slight increase in sales, according to a report by Honolulu real estate firm Locations.

Amazon.com Inc. is opening its second checkout-free convenience store in Seattle.
Tucked into the base of the newly built Madison Centre office tower at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Marion Street, the newest Amazon Go is significantly larger than the 1,800-square-foot store in Amazon's Day 1 skyscraper that opened to the public in January.

Developers have applied for a tax break to build a five-story, 120-key hotel on Beale Street, at the site of the former Club Crave.
A 15-year PILOT (payment-in-lieu-of-taxes) was requested for new construction at 380 Beale Street. TCH Memphis LLC submitted the application with the Center City Revenue Finance Corp. (CCRFC), an affiliate board of the Downtown Memphis Commission.
