The 16,041-square-foot home, which sits on 3.3 acres at 10777 Strait Lane in Dallas' Preston Hollow neighborhood, first hit the market last summer. A buyer flew in to view the home in February and the property went under contract soon after, said Becky Gruber with Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate. Becky Gruber and Diane Gruber listed the home on behalf of DPMRE. It sold on May 7.

Homes in Denver sold faster in April than anywhere else in the country.

According to a new report by online real estate company Redfin, Denver was the fastest market in the country last month, with half of all homes pending sale in just six days. That was faster than Seattle (seven days), and San Jose, Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Tacoma, Washington (nine days).

Over the past year, Redfin estimated that the median home sale price has risen 9.2 percent in Denver to $415,000.

The Atlanta-based movie mogul sold his Mulholland Estates mansion for $15.6 million — just nine months after he bought the place for $14.5 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.
